ELU’s structural engineering departments design most types of buildings. The emphasis is on offices, residential as well as public and commercial premises. Assignments are often complex, with a noticeable environmental profile.
Architectual concept
At ELU, when a project entails change to a well-known cityscape, it must be dealt with sensitively and with trust. In order to achieve the intended architectual concept, ELU solves the technical design of the puzzle in close co-operation with architects and city planners.
Keeping the environment and maintenance in mind
ELU’s projects are often characterized by major levels of complexity and a noticeable environmental profile. It is an obvious matter of course that the building’s entire lifespan is taken into consideration. Included in the calculations are both environmental impact and maintenance cost.

Within the structural engineering sector, ELU employs around 70 designers, and is thereby a strong presence on the market. Assignments include most types of projects with the emphasis on offices, residential, administrative buildings and commercial premises.
